It has been a complex project between three municipalities and the province, but work on Deseronto Road is complete.
At Monday night’s council meeting, Tyendinaga Township council discussed the completed project which stretched from highway 401, to Old Highway 2.
Township Clerk Steve Mercer says 70% of the $2.32 million price tag was covered by the province, with Lennox and Addington paying $460,000, Deseronto $110,000 and Tyendinaga Township $350,000.
Mercer says they widened the road, dug out intersections and improved areas for pedestrians and cyclists.
