Prince Edward County council and committee members won’t be making their usual trips to Shire Hall in Picton for their regular meetings for a couple of months.
A report to the Committee of the Whole yesterday indicated the building’s second floor would be accessible only by stairs while a new elevator is installed, and the facility wouldn’t meet accessibility standards.
Meetings will be held at other buildings in communities around the county between May 19th and mid-July, while the work is being done.
