Belleville’s urban area electricity distributor is celebrating an eight-year, 2.5-million hour milestone without a lost-time injury.
The accomplishment required eight continuous years of work among its more than 200 employees without a single job-related injury resulting in an employee not being able to return to work.
Veridian is the seventh largest municipal electricity company in Ontario and provides energy services to more than 111,000 customers located in Belleville and eight other communities.
