Closing arguments are expected today at the trial of a Trenton man charged in connection with a fatal boating accident on the Trent River in Downtown Trenton. 32-year old Cy Williams was charged with numerous offences including impaired driving causing death and criminal negligence causing death in the accident near the MacDonald Bridge in July of 2008. 44-year old William Lyver of Trenton died when the boat he was on crashed into an abutment. A woman on the boat swam to shore and alerted Quinte West OPP.
