It was a brief court appearance for the former commander at CFB Trenton this morning. 46-year old Russell Williams appeared via video link from the Quinte Detention Centre in Napanee wearing orange prison garb and clean-shaven. He said only “yes, thank you” when asked if he understood his case was remanded to April 29th. Williams is charged with the murders of Jessica Lloyd of Belleville and Marie France Comeau of Brighton and two sexual assaults and home invasions in the Tweed-area.
