More than 100 people packed into the John R Bush Funeral Home in Belleville to say goodbye to 46-year-old Tracy Hannah and her 14-year-old daughter, Whitney. The mother and daughter were found dead in their Valley Road home in Prince Edward County almost two weeks ago. Marc Redka, whose son went to school with Whitney, was outside the funeral home yesterday. He says it’s been difficult for his children.
18-year-old Shannon Hannah, who was seriously injured in the March 12th shootings, attended the funeral. Her former boyfriend 18-year old Dean Brown has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one of attempted murder.
Meanwhile, two other local murder suspects are expected to make brief court appearances in Belleville today. 46-year old Russell Williams….the former base commander at CFB Trenton is charged with two counts of first degree murder and two sexual assaults. and, 21-year old Myles Hughes of Belleville is charged with the first degree murder of Roy Mays last Thursday morning and the attempted murder of a 19-year old man after a shooting incident on Belleville’s east hill.
