Facebook: Roy Mays fatally shot
24-year old Roy Mays was killed in yesterday morning’s shooting on Belleville’s east hill….and, a 21-year old resident at the address where the shooting occured is behind bars charged with murder and attepted murder. 21-year old Myles Hughes was arrested just minutes after the shooting at Victoria and Albert. Mays 19-year old cousin Justin Coughlan is recovering from gunshot wound at KGH. Belleville Police Inspector Mike Graham spoke at a press conference at police headquarters yesterday. The Deputy Police Chief Paul Vandegraff admits the recent spate of shootings have local residents on edge, but police services are working together to keep the community safe. He noted that arrests have been made in almost all of the recent murders.
