Prince Edward County OPP have made an arrest in a sexual assault case.
Police responded to a call about a sexual assault on Friday at approximately 9 a.m. inside a provincial park in Prince Edward County.
After an investigation, police arrested a male suspect on the same day.
A 19-year-old man from Marlbank has been charged with sexual assault and sexual assault causing bodily harm.
The accused was released from custody, and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
The name of the accused is not being released, to protect the identity of the victim.
