A 16-year-old is facing charges after a robbery investigation in Belleville.
The incident was reported to police around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
The victim was in the area of Herchimer Avenue and Victoria Avenue when they were approached by two younger males, one of whom produced a firearm and demanded money.
Officers located one of the suspects shortly after and found him to be in possession of a very real looking replica firearm.
The 16-year-old male from Belleville was charged with numerous weapons offences and breaching a court-ordered release as well as a probation order.
The accused was held for a bail hearing Monday.
