Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation has been chosen as the recipient of the 2025 Smile Cookie campaign in Madoc and Marmora locations.
The fundraiser held across Canada from April 28 to May 4, sees proceeds from chocolate chip cookies adorned with a signature pink and blue smile benefit local charities.
The money raised from each cookie sold in Madoc and Marmora will benefit the Food for Learning program which helps ensure that local students have nutritious food to eat at school. Over 7000 local students receive food from the Food for Learning program.
Residents and local businesses are being encouraged to place bulk pre-orders to help the campaign hit its target of 10,000 cookies sold.
Community members can order cookies, or sign up to volunteer to decorate at their website here.
