Belleville police are searching for a suspect after the driver involved in a collision fled the scene.
Late Saturday night, Belleville police were called to Moira Street East and Cameron Street where a westbound vehicle struck an unoccupied parked vehicle causing a large amount of damage to both vehicles.
Witnesses observed the driver of the blue Elantra flee on foot towards North Front Street.
Police searched the area for the driver but were unsuccessful.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Belleville Police or Crime Stoppers.
In another incident, one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon at the intersection of Church Street and Victoria Avenue.
Police say the injured party was taken to hospital for treatment and both vehicles were not drivable.
A 29-year-old Belleville resident was issued an offence notice for making an unsafe turn.
Monday afternoon, Belleville Police, Fire and Hastings-Quinte Paramedics responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Blessington Rd after a vehicle left the roadway, entered the ditch and nearly struck a pole.
The 65-year-old male driver from Belleville was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
He was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for making an unsafe move under the Highway Traffic Act.
