Members of the Lennox and Addington County OPP have charged one person following a traffic stop on Highway 7.
On Friday April 11, 2025, shortly before 4 p.m., police were advised of a report of shoplifting from a drug store in Renfrew. Police were watching for the suspect-vehicle and located it on Highway 7. Officers spotted the stolen items in the car and the driver was arrested.
Andrei-Razvan Tulea, a 29-year-old from Toronto, has been charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Theft under $5000 – shoplifting
Police recovered over $30,000 in stolen property from the vehicle.
The accused was held in custody following a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee.
