Quinte West’s Docs by the Bay Physician Recruitment and Retention program has added two more family physicians to its team.
Dr. Naeem Ullah Khan and Dr. Anastasia Dobrinski will be serving the communities of Quinte West and Brighton.
Paula Mason, manager of Physician Recruitment and Retention at Docs by the Bay, says Dr. Stephen Evans of the Trenton–Brighton Medical Clinic was instrumental in bringing the doctors to the community.
Dr. Khan began practising at the Trenton–Brighton Medical Clinic in February 2025, providing vital services to the local population. He is a graduate of the Nishtar Medical University in Pakistan and completed his family medicine residency in the UK, where he practised for several years before relocating to this community.
Dr. Dobrinski, a graduate of the Omsk State Medical Academy in Russia, brings a wealth of experience to the team. She completed a Family Medicine Residency as well as a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Licensed in Ontario since 2015, Dr. Dobrinski most recently worked in the Oshawa area and will begin her practice here in early May.
Residents of Quinte West and Brighton who are without a primary care provider may complete a registration form in person at the Trenton–Brighton Medical Clinic at 260 Dundas Street East, Trenton or 22 Dundas Street, Brighton.
Please refrain from calling the clinic regarding registration, as phone lines must remain available for urgent medical inquiries.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Khan and Dr. Dobrinski to our community,” said Phil Wild, Chair of the Docs by the Bay Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee. “Their expertise and commitment to patient care will be a great asset to Quinte West and Brighton.”
The recruitment of Dr. Khan and Dr. Dobrinski brings the total number of family physicians recruited to 20 since Docs by the Bay’s inception in late 2017.
