Cobourg Police Service (CPS) is hosting a Cram-A-Cruiser food drive this weekend to support Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank (Fare Share).
Community members are invited to donate non-perishable food on Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Walmart.
The police service’s March Cram-A-Cruiser food drive collected 3,607 pounds of food, 376 pounds of dog food, and $2,738 in cash donations to support Fare Share.
Donations received during Cram-A-Cruiser food drives go directly to Fare Share, which distributes the food to those in need across Northumberland County.
Monetary donations can also be made online by visiting fareshare.ca.
