Hospice Quinte is pleased to announce the success of its annual Caregiver Expo. Despite the event’s postponement, it saw a great turnout, bringing together caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community members to celebrate, learn, and share valuable resources aimed at supporting caregivers in our region.
With a diverse lineup of 35 vendors, ranging from wellness and home care to medical devices, retirement homes, financial planning, and more, the Caregiver Expo provided attendees with essential tools and knowledge to enhance their caregiving journey. The event highlighted the importance of caregiver well-being, offering resources on everything from managing stress to understanding legal rights.
“This year’s Caregiver Expo was a rewarding experience, and we are grateful for the meaningful connections and conversations that took place,” said Petra Lepage, Executive Director at Hospice Quinte.
“We are honoured to provide a platform where caregivers can connect with experts, share experiences, and access the support they need.”
In addition to the educational opportunities, the event featured 35 exhibitors showcasing a wide range of services and products—from wellness solutions to financial planning—all designed to support caregivers.
Attendees also had the chance to connect with others who understand the challenges and rewards of caregiving.
Hospice Quinte would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the exhibitors, event volunteers, and partners who made this event possible. A special thank you to Gordon’s Downsizing and Estate Services, the City of Belleville Community Impact Grant, and Mr. Print, whose support played a key role in the event’s success.
“We could not have done this without our dedicated supporters, and we are grateful to everyone who helped make the Caregiver Expo an incredible experience for all,” said Petra Lepage, Executive Director.
As part of its ongoing commitment to caregivers in the community, Hospice Quinte continues to offer support, resources, and educational events throughout the year. For more information, visit www.hospicequinte.ca or follow Hospice Quinte on social media.
