A Belleville man faces assault and sexual assault charges after a domestic dispute in the city’s west end early Monday night.
Police responded at 7 p.m. and spoke to a woman involved in the incident. A man had left the residence prior to the officers’ arrival.
The woman told officers that an ex partner had assaulted and sexually assaulted her.
There were no physical injuries.
A short time later police located a 38-year-old man in the east end and arrested him.
