Northumberland OPP laid multiple charges against an individual after someone was reportedly causing damage to a residence and threatening people in Trent Hills.
A member of the public called police about the incident on Canrobert Street around 8 a.m. on Friday morning.
OPP arrived and officers arrested the individual believed to be involved.
While being taken into custody, the accused resisted arrest.
Robin Grant-Russell, age 32, from the Municipality of Trent Hills, has been charged with:
– Unlawfully in dwelling house
– Assault
– Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
– Mischief – destroys or damages property
– Assault with intent to resist arrest
– Mischief – interferes with lawful use of property.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
