Lennox and Addington OPP have charged one person following a two-vehicle collision in a parking lot.
On Saturday, April 5, 2025, shortly after 9 p.m., L&A County OPP members attended the scene of a collision in the parking lot of a Loyalist Township business. No injuries were reported. Following an investigation, the suspect vehicle was located nearby.
Jason Berezny, a 53-year-old from Odessa, was charged with:Operation while impaired – alcohol
- Operation while impaired
- Operation while impaired – over 80 mg of alcohol
- Failure to stop after accident
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on April 22, 2025. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded.
