Belleville Police attempted to stop a vehicle on April 6, 2025 at 2:14 a.m. for suspected impaired driving when the vehicle took off southbound on North Front Street. Police discontinued the pursuit due to public safety. The vehicle is described as an older model Chevrolet pickup with Ontario licence plate CA91497.
