Bay of Quinte NDP candidate Kate Crothers officially opened her campaign office during a ceremony on Saturday.
The event took place at her office, at 181 Picton Main Street, during an event that included a meet and greet with the area’s voters.

Crothers said she was inspired to run for the NDP to build a better future for her children.
“There is a real class divide happening,” said Crothers. “Billionaires just keep getting richer and people like you and I, the middle class, are having a hard time paying their bills and buying groceries.”
Crothers says that she and the NDP plan to accelerate building affordable housing, introduce price caps and remove taxes on essential grocery items, and prioritize helping workers through the fallout of the ongoing trade war with the United States.
