The road to the Calder Cup playoffs just got a lot rockier for the Belleville Senators.
In their biggest game of the season, the B-Sens came out flat, losing 5-2 to Syracuse, dropping them four points behind Cleveland in the chase for the final post season spot in the AHL North.
Belleville was never in the game, falling behind 4-0 before mounting any offence.
Head coach David Bell summed up his team’s problem with one word.
