The good news is that Hydro One crews have made a lot of progress returning power to homes and business in the greater Quinte region.
As of early Wednesday morning around 10,000 customers remain without power, down from around 20,000 Tuesday and over 50,000 the day before.
The bad news is that more freezing rain, rain, and wind are expected Wednesday although the storm will not be nearly as bad as the one on the weekend.
Province-wide almost 214,000 Hydro One customers are without power this morning.
