Disturbance / Breach of Probation
On March 28, 2025 at 11p m., Belleville police attended a disturbance call at a Dundas Street East location. A 62-year-old man with no fixed address was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the property. When police arrived on scene, they took the suspect into custody and found that he was breaching a probation order. The accused, Harold Dekoning of Belleville, was held for a show cause hearing on March 29, 2025 and will reappear in court March 31, 2025.
Warrants
Belleville police initiated a harassment investigation in the beginning of March 2025. A 42-year-old man from Napanee was engaging in unwanted communication with an ex-partner in the Belleville area. Police located the suspect on March 29, 2025 and arrested him for two counts of criminal harassment, four counts of failing to comply with a release order, and breach of probation. The accused was held for a show cause hearing on March 29, 2025. The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the victim.
Family Dispute / Breach of Court Order
On March 30, 2025 at 8:45 p.m., Belleville police were called to a residence in the east end of the city regarding a family dispute. Information indicated that the dispute was between a mother and her adult son and that the parties were separated. Officers arrived on scene and the investigation revealed that the 25-year-old son was breaching a conditional sentence order made by the court. The accused was arrested based on the breach and was held for a show cause hearing on March 31, 2025.
