The region continues to recover from a major ice storm on the weekend.
Our meteorologist Kevin Williams says the Quinte area received freezing rain for 36 hours straight, but now the storm has moved east out of the region.

“Weather-wise we’re concerned about winds today (Monday) which will be gusting as high as 60 kmh and that can only exacerbate concerns about weakened trees and the like but temperatures are on the rise and milder weather is ahead but colder weather later this week could include a wintry mix late Wednesday and Wednesday night.”
Williams estimates ice accumulations at between 10 and 25 mm.
