Michael Holbrook is running under the Green Party banner in the upcoming federal election in Hastings-Lennox and Addington-Tyendinaga.
Holbrook, a resident of Marmora, also represented the Green Party in the recent provinvial election, finishing in fifth place.
He’ll be running against Conservative incumbent Shelby Kramp-Neuman, the Liberal party’s Tracey Sweeney Schenk, Ava Duffy of the NDP and Zaid Yusufani for the People’s Party of Canada.
Candidates have until April 7 to file nomination papers.
The election is April 28.
