With a significant ice storm possible this weekend, several events may be cancelled or postponed.
The following is a list of cancellations received by Quinte News:
- The municipality and the Climate Action Plan Working Group is rescheduling the community consultation previously scheduled for Saturday, March 29 in Wellington due to the forecast of freezing rain.
The consultation will now take place on Saturday, April 5, from 10 am to 1 pm at the Wellington and District Community Centre. -
The Hospice Quinte Caregiver Expo has rescheduled from this Saturday, March 29th to next Saturday, April 5th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The Ramada in Belleville
- Friday Night Euchre at Codrinton Hall is cancelled tonight
- The Trenton Seniors Club 105 dinner scheduled for Saturday, March 29 has been cancelled and is rescheduled for Saturday, April 5.
- Holy Rosary Church in Belleville is cancelling all events for this weekend
- Belleville Lions Bingo Hall will be closed Saturday and Sunday
- The Household, Hazardous, and Electronic Waste depot on Wallbridge Crescent in Belleville will be closed Saturday. It will reopen at its
regular time Tuesday April 01 - All YMCA’s in the region are closed Saturday. They expect to re-open Sunday morning.
- Milford landfill site in Prince Edward County is closed Saturday
