The Belleville Police Service Board wants to hear the community’s perspective on the future of policing in the city.
The board is hosting a town hall at police headquarters on Sidney Street Wednesday, April 2 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Residents are invited to provide feedback on key questions that will help shape the police service’s Strategic Plan for 2026-2028.
Board members say they are seeking input from diverse community voices to ensure that the policing strategies reflect the needs, concerns, and experiences of those it serves.
Members of the Police Services Board include Chair Heather Smith, Vice Chair Barb Enright Miller, member Jim O’Brien, member Janet Harnden and member Mayor Neil Ellis.
