One person has been arrested and charged following an assault of a doctor at a medical clinic in Amherstview.
Just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday, L&A County OPP members attended the clinic after it was reported that a patient had assaulted and threatened a doctor.
Police say no one was injured during the incident.
Twenty-nine-year-old Karli Clark of Kingston was charged with the following:
- Assault with a weapon
- Assault – two counts
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
- Uttering threats to damage property
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on March 27, 2025.
