The Stouffville Spirit are back in their OJHL conference semi-final series with the Trenton Golden Hawks.
Lachlan Wells broke a 1-1 tie with nine seconds left in regulation to give Stouffville a 2-1 victory while cutting Trenton’s lead in the best-of-seven series to 2-1.
Cooper Matthews scored Trenton’s lone goal. It was his eighth of the playoffs.
Game 4 is Thursday night in Stouffville, then back to Trenton for Game 5 on Friday.
