An update on the merger of the former South East Health Unit was provided at the Board of Health meeting in Belleville on Wednesday.
In a report to the board, the Merger Office outlined some of the latest key updates that have been undertaken as the merger continues to unfold.
The office says it is putting together an overarching change management approach for the South East Health Unit that is broken down into four categories:
- Communication
- Change readiness
- Culture
- Training
As for branding and marketing, the report states that it continues to be underway using results from engagement sessions held with key groups in the South East Health Unit.
Staff and Board of Health members will given an online survey that will help with what is described as the “branding development process.”
IT projects are underway to make sure there is necessary communication between staff at different offices of the health unit.
