It is fortunate that there were no injuries, following a scary scene on Highway 401 in Quinte West Saturday.
Around 6 p.m., Quinte West OPP had a motorist pulled over, when another vehicle stopped to tell the officer of a suspected impaired driver.
Moments later, the vehicle in which the suspected driver was in, slammed into the stopped vehicles on the shoulder of the east lanes.
Following an investigation, officers arrested 45-year-old Yuliya Lesyk of Oakville, who was charged with dangerous operation, impaired over 80, and impaired.
Lesyk has a court date in Belleville April 10.
