There was a dangerous scene in Napanee on Saturday, as a driver had to be rescued from a vehicle that went into the water.
Around 6:45 p.m., emergency responders were called to the Napanee River at Springside Park, where the car went in, with one person inside.
Firefighters went into the dangerous moving spring rapids below the dam in an attempt to rescue the driver, putting their own lives at risk.

They had to be pulled from the water as well.
Eventually the driver was rescued, however, as of Sunday evening, the vehicle remained on the dam.
