Members of the Peterborough County OPP are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify two individuals involved in a break and enter.
On March 23, 2025, just prior to 11 p.m., Peterborough County OPP were dispatched to an alarm call at a smoke shop on Hiawatha Line. Officers attended the business and located a door that was not secure. Officers entered the business to ensure there was no one still within the building.
A representative of the business arrived and determined that there were items taken, as well as damage at the point where the individuals made entry into the building. The cost of the items taken was nearly $300, and repairs will be required.
Security cameras within the building were able to capture images of the responsible parties, which were shared with the OPP. Both suspects appear to be male and were wearing dark (blue/black)’puffy jackets and face masks. The two left on foot leaving towards Hiawatha Line. No vehicles were observed.
Investigators are looking to identify the individuals responsible for the theft and ask that anyone able to provide assistance reach out to the Peterborough County OPP.
