Bancroft OPP has laid serious charges against two people, following separate altercations in Hastings Highlands over the weekend.
On Saturday morning, officers responded to a residence and arrested a female.
A 24-year-old has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, and mischief.
The unnamed suspect has a court date on May 6th.
Officers responded to another disturbance Sunday evening, resulting in the arrest a 27-year-old man from Hastings Highlands on charges of forcible detainer and six counts of failure to comply with a release order.
The accused was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court on March Tuesday.
