The incumbent MP for Hastings-Lennox and Addington Tyendinaga riding is running for reelection.
Shelby Kramp-Neuman made the announcement Sunday.
The Conservative says her party has long called for energy independence, more support for the military, removing interprovincial trade barriers, and scrapping the carbon tax, adding that the Liberals opposed each measure for years and now have done an about-face to cling to power.
However, Kramp-Neuman says her number one priority has been and always will be representing and supporting the people in her riding.
