In a four-hour window on Thursday, Lennox and Addington OPP charged two people with impaired driving following separate collisions .
Shortly after noon, police were called about a vehicle that was involved in a collision on Melrose Road in Tyendinaga Township.
Police located the vehicle nearby and the driver, 34-year-old Taylor Thorne from Tyendinaga Township was arrested and charged with two counts of impaired operation.
Just after 4:00 p.m., OPP were called after a vehicle was observed in a driveway in Newburgh with considerable damage.
63-year-old Patricia Stone of Newburgh was charged with two counts of impaired operation and fail to stop after an accident.
Both of the accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on April 15.
Their driver’s licences were suspended for 90 days, and their vehicles were impounded.
