Federal riding boundaries are changing for the next election.
It could be months away, but by most educated guesses, Prime Minister Mark Carney will dissolve the current sitting of Parliament in the coming days, sending us to the polls.
Quinte News has three local ridings and three ridings that will change.
They are currently known as Northumberland-Peterborough South, Bay of Quinte, and Hastings-Lennox & Addington.
All three will stay as is for Queen’s Park and Members of Provincial Parliament, but not for the House of Commons and Members of Parliament.
