Belleville native Trevor Hoskin has been named the Atlantic Hockey Association Rookie of the Year.
Hoskin is in his first season at Niagara University in Lewiston, New York.
He led all AHA rookies with 12 goals and 39 points in 36 games.
Hoskin was the Most Valuable Player in the Ontario Junior Hockey League last season earning him a fourth-round selection by the NHL’s Calgary Flames in last June’s entry draft.
