Northumberland OPP continue to investigate a house fire on Chapel Street in Brighton.
Police and the Brighton Fire Department responded to a report of a fire just before 2 a.m. on Monday.
All five occupants vacated the property without injury.
Two persons who were nearby at the time were transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital as a precaution.
The Office of the Fire Marshal was contacted, and OPP Forensic Identification Services attended to assist with the investigation.
A vehicle at the location was destroyed and the flames caused major damage throughout the structure.
