A Brighton man will serve another over 200 days in prison after pleading guilty to theft, fraud, and failing to comply with an undertaking charges.
Northumberland OPP arrested Thomas Payne in December of last year after reports someone entered a residence and demanded money for work that was not done or requested.
OPP say Payne, 40 at the time of his arrest, turned out to be wanted for theft and fraud after several similar incidents, some including intimidation, in 2023.
On top of the jail time, Payne was sentenced to two years probation and must pay around $14,000 in restitution to victims of his crimes.
