UPDATE: The road has been reopened to traffic
Belleville police are requesting people avoid the area of College Street East and Airport Parkway after a train derailed.
The derailment is being described as minor.
Initial reports indicate there were no hazardous materials onboard.
Belleville police, fire and Hastings Quinte Paramedics responded to the incident.
CN police are also involved.
There is no estimated time of reopening.
