Belleville native Aiden Crawford is making his mark in the United States.
Crawford, a grade 12 student at Eastside Secondary School and a star with the Quinte Legion Lynx Track and Field Club. captured a silver medal in discus at the Midwest USA Showcase in Ypsilanti Michigan.
Crawford had a personal best throw of 53.29 metres and is now third in the USA rankings.
Crawford will attend Mount St. Mary’s in Emmitsburg Maryland next year.
