A longtime recreational facility in Centre Hastings is closing for good.
Last week, Centre Hastings council unanimously voted to leave the outdoor pool in Madoc

It was closed last summer as well, due to parts not arriving for repairs and Mayor Tom
Deline says it would cost nearly $100,000 to fix the pool and it still wouldn’t meet modern
safety and construction standards.
