The Napanee Raiders are off to a strong start in their Jr. C quarterfinal series with Trent Hills.
The Raiders thumped the Thunder 6-0 Friday night at the Strathcona Paper Centre.
Game two is Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock in Campbellford.
Meanwhile, Saturday it’s game one of a best-of-seven series between North Kawartha and the Frankford Huskies.
The puck drops at 7 p.m. in Frankford.

In the Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League the Tweed Oil Kings were eliminated from the playoffs Friday night.
The Madawaska Valley Wolves defeated Tweed 6-4 in game three of a best of three.
Meanwhile, the Deseronto Bulldogs could win their best of three with the Lindsay Barncats with a victory Saturday night in Lindsay at 7:30.
