An early morning accident has closed part of Highway 401 on Sunday.
The accident occurred after 1 a.m. on the westbound lanes near Grafton, involving a tractor trailer that left the road.
As a result, all westbound lanes on the highway have been closed at the Gully Road exit. Detours have been established.
An Environment Canada Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the region. Heavy snow is expected to worsen over the day, and residents are cautioned to cancel or postpone unnecessary travel.
