The Hastings-Lennox and Addington riding now has a Liberal candidate for this month’s provincial election.
Lynn Rigby’s career was as a Specialized Hospital Physiotherapist in Kingston for many years.
Rigby says she is running to be the MPP because she is concerned about where we all live.
She adds that she respects tax dollars, but residents currently are not getting that.
The Stone Mills resident and family farm owner is a widowed mother of three.

Liberals in Hastings-Lennox and Addington are pleased to announce they have nominated Lynn Rigby, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the 2025 provincial election on February 27th.
Lynn Rigby is the ideal candidate to represent Hastings-Lennox Addington at Queen’s Park.
With many years of experience as a specialized hospital physiotherapist in Kingston, Lynn brings a deep understanding of frontline healthcare issues to this election.
She is known for her commitment to public service and strong work ethic.
As a long-time resident and family farm owner in the Stone Mills part of our riding, Lynn has deep roots in the community and understands the unique and very real challenges facing rural and small-town Ontario.
Lynn Rigby stated,“I am running for MPP because I am concerned about where we all live.” She went on to say, “I know the value of good roads and safe bridges for getting to work, safe schools and supported teachers for our children, support for our hardworking agriculture community to feed all of us, and of course the healthcare we all deserve.”
Rigby observed, “Like most people in Hastings-Lennox and Addington I share the idea that Ontarians expect value for their tax dollars and respect from the politicians they elect, and we are
just not getting either.”
Her personal experience as a widow and mother of three, including a son in the military, gives her insight into the diverse needs and challenges of raising families in our part of Ontario.
