Ontario Provincial Police have arrested three people and seized a large amount of illegal drugs in Marmora.
Police executed a search warrant on Friday, as part of an investigation that began in December. The warrant was executed by Street Crime Unit officers at an apartment on Bursthall Street.
Police found and seized more than 110 grams of suspected cocaine, suspected opioid-containing pills, and drug trafficking tools.
Three people were arrested at the scene.
Sixty-two-year old Edward Collins and 51-year-old Wendy Ford of Marmora were charged with possession of a schedule one substance for trafficking, possession of a schedule one substance, and possession of profits of crime over $5000.
Austin Hadwyn, a 25-year-old from Chatham, was charged with failure to comply with a release order.
All three were held in custody, pending a bail hearing. They are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
