Belleville police had to use a taser to subdue a suspect after an apartment had been vandalized.
Officers responded just after 11 o’clock Sunday morning after an incident involving a broken window was reported on Cannifton Road.
Upon arrival they encountered a man well known to them who resisted arrest, forcing the use of a taser.
The 41-year-old man of no fixed address had been released from custody just three days earlier. He was charged with four counts of breach of probation.
