The Wellington Dukes filled the North York Rangers’ net Friday night as they cruised to an 11-1 win at the Lehigh Arena Friday night.
After a scoreless first period the Dukes took the game over. Cory Jewitt, Ryan Schaap and Quinn McNamara each had two goals for Wellington who outshot North York 34 to 17.
Also scoring for the Dukes were Alex Hendry, Jared McNeil, Vince Albanese, Kyle Kavc, and Ethan Murray.
The game was played in front of almost 700 fans.
In Junior C play, Trent Hills got by Port Hope 4-3. On Saturday, Port Hope will be in Napanee to play the Raiders at 3:30.
In the Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League the Tweed Oil Kings will be in Deseronto Saturday to take on the Bulldogs.
