A series of accidents involving transport trucks has paralyzed traffic on Highway 401.
At least five transports are involved, with possibly more.
At one point, multiple lanes were closed between Cobourg and Quinte West, with all westbound lanes closed in Brighton at County Road 40, and all westbound also closed between Colborne and Grafton.
Eastbound lanes have since opened in Grafton and the westbound lanes have been opened in Brighton.
Firefighters, OPP and ambulance are on scene at the incidents. At least one person was transported to the hospital by emergency services.
